Fugue in D Minor PDF - J.S. Bach, Arr. Forbes
This beautifully chromatic Fugue in D Minor (taken from Bach's Toccata & Fugue BWV 913 (not THE Toccata & Fugue that we all know and love, but a different one) is very contrapuntal and musically quite interesting. It truly gives every member of the tuba/euphonium quartet or ensemble interesting and exposed sections of counterpoint. Many people might know this quartet from the trombone version made famous by "Four of a Kind." However, this version is a little different in that it is in C minor and is more geared toward valved instruments (more ornamentation, etc.). Also, Mike Forbes has wholly arranged it quite differently in order to take advantage of the more colorful timbres of tubas and euphoniums. Hard copies available via email request.
