Chaconne - J.S. Bach, arr. Forbes
You'd think it impossible to create 4 voices from a single violin, but Bach did it! And it's amazing. If you haven't heard the original Partita in D Minor for Solo Violin, check it out...then imagine it for tuba/euphonium quartet! There have been a number of arrangements made through the years of this solo violin piece truly realized for all four voices and even more. This virtuosic arrangement takes advantage of the full range and technical veracity of all four players in a tuba/euph. quartet and was specifically arranged for Sotto Voce, as this is one of Demondrae Thurman's favorite works of all time.
